Flatten your canvas first

Your canvas comes rolled. Before you start, gently flip it painting-side-down and roll it the other way to flatten it out, then lay it on a smooth surface to work on.

Work in any order you like

There is no set order for filling in the canvas. Start wherever feels right to you, whether that is the background, a focal point, or just whichever colour you feel like picking up first.

Keep your paint pots closed

Only open the paint pots you are actively using and close the lids as you go. This stops the paint from drying out mid-session.

Let each section dry before painting next to it

If you are painting two sections that sit right next to each other, let the first one dry before filling in the second to avoid the colours bleeding into each other.
